Ordering NaOH in the U.S. Safe?

Hello,

I just recently joined this forum, but SWIM has been interested in extracting and smoking DMT. SWIM has smoked lots of weed in the past, but hasn't for a few months, has had one awesome trip on shrooms, and is now interested in trying DMT. The only problem is SWIM lives in the U.S. and we all know that DMT is illegal in the U.S. SWIM has a friend that would like to try DMT too. They want to make their own DMT, but are afraid to, because of the evil DEA and their ability to track people who order certain materials online (SWIM isn't 100% sure that they actually track people, he just read that online somewhere). SWIM and his friend had the idea of each ordering half of the supplies so that it isn't quite so obvious.

SWIM's question is, "is it safe to order NaOH, and/or any other supplies necessary to extract DMT from Mimosa, if I live in the U.S.?"


Any other advice that SWIM could use, is much appreciated.




*I told SWIM that I didn't know the answer to his question, so I would join a forum that talks about DMT and things related to DMT. Just fyi, I personally have no plan on doing anything DMT related.

It depends which state you live in. If you live in Indiana or order from Indiana, then NO, it's not safe at all. Some states have implemented their own chemical watch list in hopes of busting people making meth and they normally have sodium hydroxide on that list as in Indiana. In those states, reporting the purchase of sodium hydroxide as suspicious is voluntary, not mandatory, but enough to get a visit from the police. Check the local police department for more info. The program is normally called "Meth Watch" and is voluntary.

SWIM does not live in Indiana. I will check that website out.

EDIT:

SWIM could not find anything about a "Meth Watch" in his state. But SWIM remember having to go to the pharmacy for anti-congestion medicine for a really bad cold he had. SWIM had to sign something that said he wouldn't use the medicine for the process of making meth. :roll:

SWIM thinks the government is getting to controlling. :lol:

Because it is being used by allot of people into the home bio-diesel and was also historically used in home soap making the amount of chatter for NaOH is probably to high to really trigger a response from the thought police on its own even if it is part of a reporting system, although one can NEVER be too safe.

Just make some soap so you can show it off if anyone gets curious.
