out of body no dmt

Migrated topic.

Rising Star
i cant post anywhere else so i will put this here

i had this amazing experience a while ago, while i was sleeping on the couch at a friends place.
and in the days before i had been thinking and reading about out of body experiences and read that if u find yourself floating up and bouncing against the ceiling" something that plagued me a lot when i was younger ..i found it very annoying :)" that when this happens u can sorta roll out of it and become free of your body.
so that night i had taken no drugs no weed alcohol nothing i was laying on the couch when first i got this vibrating ringing sound which is like the dmt ringing u might experience it was really intense and then i found myself floating up towards the ceiling again but this time i remembered so i tried and roll out..

to my amazement it worked and i was out of body, i then flew through the window and ended up in some sort of gym like the gym area of a school , and everybody was flying around or doing some other crazy stuff..i thought a this must be some practise area or something.

then i flew back through the window of my friend and saw her sleeping there i continued to fly through the house closely to the floor.
when i entered the room i was sleeping in i saw myself on the couch i was amazed even more , then something scary happened the dog that was also in the house suddenly jumped on my outofbodyBody and i felt stuck and struggling to get free of it i ended up in my body again on the couch looking in amazement at the dog that was looking in amazement at me :)

im sorry for my poor writing skills and memory , but i thought this would be a great addition to the so similar dmt experiences we put here

I've had similar experiences dreaming when I think I have woken up and go walking around and usually end up floating/swimming because I am not tethered to the physical body, often close to the ground as you mentioned. But I often feel stronger gravity that pulls me to the floor and eventually back to my body and sleep paralysis, often leading to multiple dreams within dreams.

Interesting experience for sure! And no worries about writing skill. I think you did just fine.

Anyway, I also experience dreams where I float around the room, often up near the ceiling. It's happened for much of my adult life. I've never heard about this whole rolling out thing. Hopefully I can remember this the next time I have another floating type of dream and give it a try.

Thanks again for the post!

It's from the Monroe books, a classic of the OBE literature.

However I like the stuff by Jurgen Ziewe better, e.g.:

Vistas of Infinity - How to Enjoy Life When You Are Dead

I currently notice that he has released new material on YT:

I like OBE authors who aren't dead and can be mailed for further questions, check him out. Floating above the ceiling is just the beginning.

Thank you so much! I find this stuff fascinating myself but have never really dug into it very far. That is about to change, thanks to you. Much appreciated, Ufostrahlen!

Hey you're welcome. Please keep us updated with your progress, the more people write about their experiences, the more we can learn and pull it out of the mystery/esoteric corner.

He has a slight different view on OBEs, but is nevertheless an important figure in the OBE scene. He was Bob Monroes sidekick from the beginning and sees the experience from a simulation theory view. He claims that you can OBE without going to sleep, by just switching "consciousness channels" like on a TV.

The talks are lengthy, but packed with interesting information. I guess it's time for you to call a guide/teacher the next time you go OOB.

Hum, because the thread is called "out of body no dmt" it might fit. This is from Stan Grof, who took LSD in 1956 (I think it was 200-300µg) while watching a strobe and got an OBE. Strobes/mind machines and LSD really fit together from my experience as well.

Grof: Well, my preceptor was very interested in electroencephalography and at the time when he got this sample from Sandoz, he was particularly interested in what’s called “driving the brain waves”or “entrainingthe brain waves”, which means exposing people to a stroboscopic light and then finding out in the sub-occipital area in the EEG, electroencephalography, if the brain waves pick up the frequency that you are feeding in. So those of us who wanted the session also had to agree to have our brain waves driven in the middle of this experiment. Between the third and fourth hour, when my experience with LSD was culminating, which was powerful enough, this research assistant came and said this was time for the experiment. So she took me to a small room, I laid down. She put the electrons on my head and then asked me to close my eyes and then put this gigantic strobe above my head and turned this on.

Paulson: So you had a strobe light?

Grof: A strobe light on top of me.

Paulson: On top of the LSD.

Grof: And suddenly there was light like I had never seen in my life, I couldn't imagine existed, like you read about the mystical experiences like millions of suns, you know. At the time, I thought, “This is what it must have been like in Hiroshima,”when the bomb went off. Today I think it wasmore like, what’s it called, dharmakaya in the Tibetan Book of the Dead, the primary clear light that you see at the moment of your death. But what happened was my consciousness was catapulted out of my body, the research assistant, the clinic, Prague, the planet and suddenly I had the feeling I became nothing. My old self was extinguished but I had the feeling I became all of existence.

It seems that I have a great deal of research ahead of me! Having watched a few of the videos you recommended (Monroe, Ziewe, and Campbell respectively) and I can already see that I will enjoy this journey a great deal. I have managed to lay hands on some of Monroe's books but Ziewe's are a bit tougher to obtain here in the States in electronic format. I can order paperbacks but they are rather pricey. However, Ziewe has been kind enough to make a wealth of information available online, so I will work my way through that initially. There's always a slim chance I can locate them via the library system in my area (worth a try and I love libraries).

I am an IT hack who happens to believe in the idea of a simulated universe. So far it's proven the best fit in terms of explaining my own direct experiences (but I always keep my mind open to other possibilities). There are a surprising number of parallels between IT systems and this thing we call "reality". As you might guess, TC's OBE France 2015 lecture resonated with me. It also gave me some new ideas. I am definitely eager to explore more of his research.

I will make sure to call upon a guide at my next opportunity, and in fact have begun doing so consciously rather than waiting for my next OBE. I figure that it can't hurt, and there's some precedence in my life for already having made contact with one or more guides, depending upon how one views the experiences. One the ghost of a man dead now for over 25 years, who has patiently proven his existence to me and whom I believe actually helped save my life (but that is another story entirely); and the other being a female entity I encountered on a deeply profound, salvia-induced OBE back in 2009, who has subsequently showed up in my dreams on multiple occassions, preceding periods of great change in my life.

If you are interested in my accounting of the female entity, I posted a trip report here:
Break on Through (Salvia Trip Report)

I am grateful for this thread started by Goddard, and very grateful to you Ufostrahlen for being so generous with information and guidance. You have my sincere thanks. The topics of death and of ghosts or disembodied spirits are ones very near and dear to me. I did not always believe in the idea of ghosts or forms of existence after death, but I am also willing to change my beliefs when they no longer conform with the reality I experience, and experience it I have. For me the existence of ghosts is not even a question, having experienced that particular reality on many occasions over a period spanning two decades. It has been a very pleasant surprise for me to discover such phenomenon featured so prominently by the likes of Monroe, Campbell, Ziewe, etc. A big part of the journey I find myself embarking upon is to learn more about the nature of such phenomenon. Until recently I've relied upon direct experience while neglecting (for the most part) that of others. It appears that by exploring the OOB experience in depth, I may also gain insights into the phenomenon of disembodied spirits and death, so I am most excited at the prospect!

I will make sure to post something should and when I make further progress. Thank you again and I wish you well!

You can get the ePub version here: Vistas of Infinity - How to Enjoy Life When You Are Dead and the Kindle version here:
Amazon.com -- maybe $10 is much for you, but it's one of the few books I really like to recommend reading if you are an OBE fan. The reviews on Amazon can be helpful to judge if you like to spend the $10, some comments really resonate with me:

Ziewe goes beyond Monroe in the exploration of other levels of reality! Ziewe's style differed from Monroe's in that he seemed more in command of the experience and was able to interview the entities that he met and explore the area in a detached manner. It seemed to me that often Monroe was often overwhelmed by the environment he found himself in or was so caught up in his own experience that he missed many opportunities to question the inhabitants.

picks up where Robert Monroe left off.
very fresh look at a much neglected part of life

You can get the Monroe books for free via Google, so you save money there.

You might also encounter Hemisync, it did nothing for me (at least I haven't felt anything or got an OBE out of it). You can get them as FLAC via torrents, so you save a lot of money, if don't like buying the pig in the poke. You can always donate later if it works for you. But with fringe products like Hemisync I like to have a money-back-guarantee.

TC explains the mechanics behind it, since he pioneered Hemisync, you can also build them for free:

Probably your best shot, if you value experience over book knowledge.

Again, you're welcome. I hope I didn't spam you, but I think it's better to spam, so you can ignore, instead of withholding my research.

Thanks! Somehow I missed the kindle version of this one during my initial search. And $10 isn't too much. I am just being frugal since I am between jobs for now. All the same, I just ordered it :D

Monroe's stuff was easy to find and I made sure to grab copies after our first discussions. In fact I began reading Journeys Out of Body earlier today.

I may give Hemisync a try. The first night after speaking with you on this thread, I was scouring the web for information and ran across the OM meditation mp3 on the multidimensionalman website. I had to that point never tried out any biurnal audio whatsoever. On a whim I decided to give it a shot and meditate to it. I had a tough time remaining centered and found myself restless and agitated, but that may have been due to the Halloween candy I had eaten earlier in the evening. I don't normally consume much sugar and I was a bit on edge as a result, so my restlessness may have had nothing to do with the audio track at all. Anyway, I stuck with it and was able to calm down after 10 minutes or so. Shortly thereafter, I suddenly felt something akin to electricity shoot up my spine, originating at or near the base of the spinal column. It shot through my shoulders and down both arms, raising all the hairs along the way and even making my fingers tingle. It shot up through my neck to the very top of my skull. At the same time I grew flushed and hot, perspiring lightly. The electrical sensation wasn't so strong as to be shocking (haha) or painful, but it was stronger than say getting the chills or goosebumps. It also gave me a very slight headache, or perhaps better to say how one feels before getting a headache. I ended the meditation at about 20 minutes (I normally only do 10 - still building my meditation habit). A little while later as I lay in bed waiting for some laundry to finish, I closed my eyes and began to see some CEVs. At first they were the normal rorschachesque blobs and geometric patterns tumbling across the darkness behind my eyelids. Nothing abnormal. But then suddenly I saw something VERY distinct. A shape moved into view, traversing from right to left and it looked a great deal like the image below:

NAWELEz.jpg

It looked almost identical to that image, but its lines were a pale, neon blue. The only difference I can say was that the image had a distinct female aspect to it. My brain immediately identified it as a female eye. Hell, it had long, curled eyelashes. As it traversed across my vision, it tumbled counterclockwise and I'll be damned if it didn't give me a playful, almost flirtatious wink before floating out of view. I have never experienced such a detailed and animated CEV without having ingested a psychoactive substance beforehand. I do not know if those two experiences (the shock up the spine and the CEV) were due to the mp3 track from MDM, simply my subconscious, or from something/somewhere/someone else. I do not know, but what I do know is that those experiences were for me quite abnormal and they caught my attention. I thought I'd mention them here.

It is not so much that I value direct experience over book knowledge in all cases. Rather to say I find that if I first have a foundation of direct knowledge, it enhances my understanding and comprehension of book knowledge. I will also admit that I struggle at times with these topics due to an embarrassment factor of sorts. I spent a good deal of my life as a fairly hardcore atheist and skeptic. All this mysticism stuff was to me a bunch of hokum (ghosts, afterlife, OBE, ESP, etc). I did not believe in any of it and I looked down my nose at those who did. I also did not go looking for those experiences, but rather they came looking for me, and once they found me I had to adjust my beliefs (and I still am). The advantage of seeking direct experience was to a large degree that I could do so without telling anyone and fearing their judgement. But nowadays I hardly care. Let them judge!

No need for concern on that account, my friend. Your advice and knowledge is truly appreciated. Hell, I've been sitting over here worried that I was the one being spammy with my long-winded replies! 😁

Hé guys, very interesting

I wAnted to reply on the simulTion theory I always believed life is some sort of virtual reality or that that is the best methaphore we have now

Not long ago I discoverd while doing some 3d design work that if u take a sphere and show the polygon structure this looks exactly as the flower of life . On A busted phone now I'll try uploAd picture later..

Also in my last Dmt experience I saw evertything as Lego / mindcrAft style even the people on the streets looked like HD 8bit minecrafty characters

Really dope
