Overwhelmed by this whole maoi thing. Need help?

I've done quite a bit of research and am just confused and overwhelmed by all the dirrerent imfo on maoi's.

The main thing I want to be able to do is pharmahuasca, and maybe do some before smoking occasionally. The whole subject is real foriegn to me. I wanted to just get some moclobemide but found out you need a script. Then with the rue/cappri and all that you hear of having to do extracts ect.

So can someone maybe walk me thru this, and give me a fool proof/ easy way to achieve this? You could PM me too with imfo. That would help cause I got the credit card in hand! Thanks.

moclobemide would not be ideal I would think. Ayahuasca is based on the harmalas and the DMT is added as admixture. Harmine and harmaline are both psychedelics in their own right and without these pharma would just be lacking..moclobemide as far as I know has none of these effects, it is just an MAOI..and DMT activated with moclobemide is not pharmahausca IMO because it has to have the harmalas to be called a "huasca".

Now, you dont need to do more than brew a tea with caapi or rue..really I dont find there is all that much of a difference if you brew the tea properly and filter it, decant it etc..I actaully prefer a brew to my manske harmalas from rue because I find something is lacking in the extraction..maybe an A/B tek would pull these other alkaoids I can feel in the tea.. Personally though I get just as sick with the manske stuff as with the tea..and eating pure DMT makes me alot sicker than if I drink a well filtered mimosa tea-why that is I really cannot say..I suspect it might be the DMT fumerate..my body does not like fumaric acid I guess, even after I clean the crystals up.

So personally..I see no point in using pharma. I get just as sick and the experience feels a bit less "full"..one good thing though is that you can use pharma sublingual, which is nice but I like to swallow it more.

So ya..IMO complex extractions are not needed but that is just how I respond and everyone is going to be different and some people swear pharma makes them less sick so..

First of all Lake, thanks for posting this thread! I feel the very same exact way if not more haha. I'm a little shy about asking questions and coming off as dumb or incompetent of using the search button, I'm just not sure where to begin!!

About the 3g of rue seeds, how do I ingest those? I have read a couple manske teks (where you crush them to start with and I'm sure you know the rest) but my understanding isn't 1000% which makes me afraid I'll eff something up. I just want something easy to ingest lol. Could I just swallow the seeds? :shock: I have some dmt citrate I just want to eat already! :) oh man. Forgive any ignorance, I'm just totally virgin to most dmt ingestion besides smoking it. Please enlighten me friends!
 
Your welcome sparkling lotus:arrow: I have some rue seeds on the way so I was going to end up asking the same question.?. Do you crush them up b4 you swallow them? Should I do an allergy test? This whole maoi thing kinda makes me nervous cause it could potentially be dangerous. But me wanting to experience pharmahuasca outweighs the risk.

Have you read those manske teks? Some are simple but use improper grammar which leaves me lacking confidence in their knowledge and also just making it plain out hard to understand! Gr. I found a good one on here but it seems to require prior knowledge & familiarity. :/ I'm then not sure what to do with the after product lol.

Harmalas are not MAOI they are RIMA please our FAQ page we have this topic discussed in-depth there, it's linked above.

Theres nothing dangerous about using rue unless you are on certain pharmaceutical medications like SSRI for example.

I do not ingest ground rue because my body does not like it. I experience much discomfort and nausea when I have done this. Some people do not feel this way and can consume it ground up this way fine.

I think I'd like to give it a try. So 3gs of rue seeds ground up..and..uhm...well, how do I wash it down? Could I mix it in with water and just drink it?
