Passiflora Incarnata 5x - how to combine with changa?

Hi peepz,

I have gotten my hands on 5 gram Passiflora Incarnata 5x extract in powdered form (no tincture).
I also have gotten my hands on 50 grams of Ourinhos Caapi and 20 grams of pink lotus.
There is a amount of 20g spice available.

In total i want to make 60g changa, 40g herbs 20g spice.
The herbs will consist out of 20g pink lotus and 20g caapi.
Most of the pink lotus will be added BEFORE infusing even though i will lose the nice pink color,
some will be added later for cosmetic reasons

This leaves me with about 40g caapi (i have some extra from last batch) and the 5 gram Passiflora extract.
I want to extract the alkaloids from the caapi using gribal2's explanation.

But what to do with the passiflora extract? adding it as powder is no option, this will not work.
It is exactly the reason why i normally "filter" my caapi shreds before infusion, i don't wanna end up with 5 gram powder at the bottom.

Could i possibly add the passiflora to the caapi extraction? or should i do a seperate extraction?
Would it be better to just soak both the caapi and the passiflora extract in IPA for some weeks?

What would you advice?

Yeah I'm not sure how you would go about using the powder, it might be an option to do a crude acetone extraction on the passiflora then infuse that into the caapi prior to the DMT. not sure though.

Also 20 grams of DMT :O did you extract a forest?

20g isn't that much... it's just a kilo of high quality mhrb (16g) with some leftovers from last batch.
yeh im just wondering which solvent to use and how to get most of the alkaloids from the passionflower to the solvent, even then, will it infuse into the herbs?

if its ipa i might as well combine it with the caapi extraction,
if its similar to the way you do a a/b caapi extraction same story...

60g of changa ? why dont you try smaller amount few grams first. what if its not good mix you end up with? what you gonna do with 60g ?

Lol yeah I guess 20grams isn't THAT much, but 2 grams have lasted me since May and 1 gram went into changa so I guess 20 grams would last me a flippen long time.

anyway, I use acetone to extract passionflower and it works well. I reckon IPA would work well too though.

@PrimalWisdom What can i say, i use it in everything my toothpaste, my shampoo, my breakfast, my tabacco, my late-night-snacks, etc...
Hahaha enough joking, how long do you soak when using aceton and passiflora?

@smokerx im pretty experienced with making changa (all kinds of blends) so don't worry too much about that.

I let it soak for a week, but some say 2-3 weeks is best. I personally think the acetone takes everything worthwhile in the first 24hrs but what do I know
