Passing out while/before hitting hyperspace?

Okay... I've done a fair share of reading and I've found a lot of people suggesting that orgasms are/can/could be tied to DMT (Terrence McKenna said this as well).

So I started thinking about "Erotic asphyxiation" - which honestly I've never tried because I'd be afraid of accidentally killing myself. But it's supposed to enhance the orgasm somehow.

BUT - SWIM's 'trip sitter' says to breath thoroughly before and after the hits. To get in a meditative state. SWIM's sitter is big on the importance of breathing good (even when not tripping).

But I'm still thinking that maybe you could drag out or enhance the feeling/visions from passing out.

Has anyone ever held a hit so long they blacked out?

I'm not talking about putting a belt around my neck - seriously... It's just, when I take my tokes, it feels like it gets easier and easier to ignore the pain in my lungs and hold my breath longer. I sometimes feel like I could ignore it and hold my breath forever.

Or do you have to maintain a conscious mind to witness DMT trips?
I've never blacked out, so I don't know if the visions would remain.

I'm no expert on these matters either, but I'm pretty sure (certain) that the mechanism behind erotic asphyxiation is an entirely different beast than that of inhaling DMT vapor.

I have been known to uh, experiment behind closed doors in the bedroom, and the method you are talking about should not be undertaken either alone or with a partner, unless one absolutely knows what they are doing.

If you are alone, and use the belt you mentioned (and yes I know you said you wouldn't, but I'm still sharing this), it's a perfect route to death, or worse, crippling brain damage.

And if you found someone dumb enough to help you, the odds are arguably worse. What if they wrongly determined the time for you to be choked, and waited too long? Do I need to elaborate ?
You are talking about a serious, advanced BDSM technique, not a way to get a cheap thrill.

By the way, where did you read this theory? There's a lot of wacky theories and pseudoscience surrounding the molecule, due primarily to it's place on the DEA schedule and lack of real research. I'm curious to read this one tho.

Terrence McKenna for sure has said the orgasm could be linked to DMT/pineal gland. I have tons of recordings on CD which I listen to all day while I work (in my car as a mortgage inspector).
Trip sitter who doesn't ever listen to Terrence said the same thing to me when he first introduced the spice to me.
And I'm sure I've read it in a few places. Like everything else I put into my body, I research the crap out of it till I can't find any more info, then I start asking questions lol.

And even if this worked, I'd never do it with a belt, I'd only try it by holding my breath as long as I could.

Trip sitter says "hold the hit as long as you can".
I've also read other places where people are like "hold it 15 seconds max, and when you release the hit, your next draw of breath MUST be another DMT hit" (to break through).

Anyway cool, was just seeing if there was a non-medical way to enhance the trips, thanks!

The non-medical way to enhance a trip is by using an MAOI in combination. The use of an MAOI will lengthen and intensify the trip. Blacking out prior to falling into Hyperspace is completely useless, and has happened to me on a couple of doses that I was not ready for. I came back with a sense of confusion and waste, obviously couldn't recall anything. Seemed reminiscent of going under for anesthesia, like time hadn't passed.

Topher, I want questioning the validity of your source on the orgasm/dmt thing, I'm just not familiar, I've only read a little McKenna.
