Phalaris arundinacea is worth?

SWIM plans on growing Phalaris arundinacea in a small outdoor garden,his question is if it is worth it to grow it as a sustainable DMT source(Has access to chemicals such as naphtha,lye and so on)? Note that he hasn't any experience with DMT rich plants such as mimosa or acacia...
