Nope, just created the pattern in photoshop and added filters, shadows, and texture then created another pattern, replicated, another pattern, replicated....could go on indefinitely but decided to stop there.
This one is completely made of a single circle resized, positioned and replicated over and over.
Although I'm sure you could create a pattern in illustrator and do the same thing.
I'm intrigued that you do this solely with Photoshop. I use it of late myself, but I can't really picture your method.
This is why I'm so enamored with digital art, I think. The possibilities are so broad. If you can imagine it, you can execute it. It's a brave new world of art.
