Pineal Gland Headache? What causes it and the steps to reverse this symptom.

My wife is 37, 140lb, healthy. We have tripped about once every 30-90 days and taking long breaks in between since 2018. Everything has been great, until this year. She tried LSD-25 for the first time. Such as the DS3.0s (Dr. Seuss). She had a massive pineal gland headache for 5 days straight and nothing would relieve this.

She tried 2C-B three months later and it came back again, but at half the pain and only for that night.

She then had MDA 2 months later and no headache.

2 months after, she dosed 4-Ho-Met, she had a headache on the come up, but went away after the peak.

Is her pineal gland becoming calcified?

Has anyone heard of LSD 25, 2C-B and other phenethylamines causing severe pineal gland headaches? Only in the 3rd eye area? Even after a breakthrough/peak?

She mentioned it felt like the tentacle creature popping out of the third eye in the film "From Beyond" 1986. The Dr. Crawford Tillinghast scene.

May I ask what is "pineal gland headache" and how do you specifically diagnose the reason for the headache being the pineal gland, considering there is no known scientific evidence to suggest this gland has any pain receptors whatsoever? Just curious as to the diagnostic method here.
When you meditate or look at brain imaging software, this is the 3rd eye chakra, this is where her pain is originating. It fills like it's swollen and going to burst. Like it's overloaded.

So you hooked her up to a brain imagine apparatus while she was on the comeup and the pain occurred? Keep in mind that many psychedelic substances, including LSD, tend to increase the blood pressure because of vasoconstriction. Increased blood pressure can easily lead to headache. I can't say if this has anything to do with her pineal gland, but to me this sounds highly unlikely.

I personally have never had a headache during or after any psychedelic, so if she is persistently experiencing this, it might be a good idea to seek a professional medical opinion.

Combining psychoactive drugs with some untested ideas could lead to all kinds of results. I would heed @Nydex's advice and get a medical opinion on this issue.

I have experienced pressure building in that region just as the op describes. They never developed into the headaches although 5ht2a agonists in general have caused headaches for myself bad enough to need nsaids. Headaches from tripping are actually common. Kathleen Harrison once said she can’t take LSD without having a pain killer for the headaches that come after the trip.

Once when smoking a Phalaris extract that pressure built up until there was a “pop” in that region…kind of like how it feels when you come down in elevation too fast and then swallow only the sensation was directly where my third eye should be. No idea what that was about.

My pineal is calcified because I used DMT countless times.

Yet I don't get these headaches.

I don't know what's going on with your spouse but one thing I can recommend is really staying on top of heavy duty hydration. That is one thing that is all too easy to forget when in the other world.
DMT causes pineal gland calcification?
I had an MRI years ago and it was a white mass in the center. I asked the doc what it was and he said my pineal gland was calcified. when I freaked out a bit, he told me it was just somewhat worse than anyone else my age and said that it was from aging and fluoride exposure.

I think it’s like others said…vasoconstriction. It’s not a paradoxical reaction because tension headaches are expected when some percentage of people take a vasoconstrictor. The reason some people experience relief from cluster headaches is also due to vasoconstriction, but that is also to be expected. It all seems fairly common(aside from the pineal gland stuff).

If you are only experiencing the headaches when taking 2a agonists, then you can likely assume that’s the only culprit. If they are persistent then like others said, see a doctor.

I have had headaches that occurred with pressure in the centre of my head also but not from tripping. It’s usually when I have a sinus and or ear infection from being in the water constantly.
