Powdered Mimosa

How long can finely powdered mimosa be kept, without altering its properties and negatively impact an extraction from it ?

From what I have read, if kept sealed and in dark, dry conditions it should last for months. Do a search for this as I am sure it is covered in detail elsewhere...

I've heard sealing it up and putting it in the freezer helps. Antrocles has stated that he used his after 6 months in the freezer and got good results.
