24 hrs is a good time, if you dont see the amount of crystals you think you might have had, then wait 36. then itll be useless to wait for longer. Your naptha will be colorless (or nearly colorless) when it has no more dmt in it.

Make sure you save all your pour off in a different jug, it can reused infinitely.

If you've got a good freezer that can go down to very low temperatures 8 hours is plenty tbh, and it's only really good to use the solvent a few times otherwise you get more fats and yellowy spice from it, generally do many pulls soaking for a pretty short period of time with small amounts of solvent to get it pretty saturated with dmt gives you snow white crystals as long as there's absolutely no mhrb impurities.

Never had trouble with oils, but did have an issue with fats for the first time this last extraction, ergo why im going the A/B route

I would not suggest any lower than ~12hrs seriously, even if your freezer can freeze alcohol(i believe around -114 °C). I use a deep freezer -28c and I still leave it in there overnight + 6 hours.

honestly its really up to you, how patient can you be? Its not going to harm the crystals to just freeze a bit, also you might think about slow evaporating them. they become HUGE.

True, although one way to do it is put one pull into the freezer, while it's freezing do another pull, swap the two after enough time, heat up the first jar and do another pull with it, swap them, continue, even though it's a bit of dmt left in solution it just gets taken out in the next pull, still get just as high yields. And imho ultra-small crystals are easier to dose.

Pretty well covered already but the colder the freezer (don't peek) the faster the precip of the xtals. 8)

Last time swim was in a rush. So she kept her naphta in the freezer for less than 3 hours. Nevertheless her yield was 1.34%. Out of curiosity she put remaining naphta in the freezer again and got only a few small crystals worth less than 0.05%. Her freezer is very old and inefficient. One important thing - prior to freeze-precipping she reduced spice-containing naphta until it became cloudy while still hot (to ~1/8th of the original volume).

how about does one slow evap don't you just pour out the naphtha and let dry?
