Hi reader!
What are you top 5 favourite psychedelics and why?
Which psychedelic would you recommend to a person who never had psychs before?
Is DMT good or bad introduction to psychedelics?

P.S. - This thread wasn't planned i just messed up and posted 2 indentical threads and i didnt know how to delete it so i edited it to this :d

My plans for further psychedelic and mind exploration are those tools in this order to be experienced:
Cannabis Edibles,Mescaline,Mushrooms,N,N-DMT

I dont have a ton of experience with variety.

I'd say that unless you are pretty at peace and a skilled mind navigator, that DMT isn't the best psych to start your journeys with. Too intense and panic enducing for a non psych user.

I can only rank the 5 I've worked with from easiest to most difficult for me

1) Weed/MDMA
2) LSD
3) 4-HO-MET
4) 4-ACO-DMT
5) nnDMT

- I had a very nice psych experience with high dose of weed with MDMA. I couldn't possibly have a negative exp.

- 100-200ug of LSD isnt too bad of a mind fuk and offers nice CEV's and the energy and outlook to be social.

- 25mg of 4-ACO-DMT can be pretty heavy and beautiful. But can be a struggle to deal with. I find its anti-social with strangers. 4-HO-MET is a bit lighter and more energetic, but very similar.

- A dose of 30mg of nnDMT can be very difficult to manage for some. I cant move whilst on that dose and I have no concept of time.

I'd recommend LSD to someone who has never tried a psych before. I'd say 1 tab is sufficient to get a feel for the space. less than one tab is cheating yourself from a good physcedlic experience, IMO. The trip is long enough for a new explorer to get a lot of good experiences.

Im actually little scared to try LSD only because of its long duration but at the same time im damn curious about all of them, some i will try for sure. Where i live you can bet there is little to no LSD. I heard that 1p-LSD is still legal and some users report its indentical to LSD. I was considering to try mushrooms as my first time psych but some people say its like a child that if disrespected or pissed turns into a demon hahaa. Soo i continued to read and research and i found that actually a good first time psych for me atleast might be mescaline? Why noone on the internet ever suggested mescaline for a first time psych? Many people say its like a carrying loving grandfather that doesnt want to scare you. Sorry for these analogy. Is mescaline a good psychedelic to start with these type of journey's.

Mushrooms or San Pedro would be good for a first experience. Mushrooms are nice because they dont last that long. Mescaline trips last a long time. A low dose mushroom trip, say 2 grams dried, would be a really good starting point IMHO. Then in future trips you can build up the dose slowly. Then when you have experience under your belt you can try cactus, again starting with a lower dose and working up from there.

But thats just my 2 cents. There are many ways to go about this and a lot depends on your personality and life experience. When you're tripping always remember that the experience is temporary and it will pass. Enjoy it for what it is and accept what comes, whether it is what you had anticipated or not. Best luck.

Hey there. I wouldn't worry about the time line of LSD. It does seem long while contemplating in a sober mind... however while you're on it you'll wish it would never end. Particularily the peak. In my opinion the peak is the magic of the psychedelic experience. Once that's over, it feels nice... but not nearly as intense as the peak. An LSD peak should last about an hour or two. After that its a slow wind down back to your every day state. This is why we tend to smoke weed after the peak. To prolong that peak feeling. However beware of mixing weed with psychs. It'll intensify/potentiate big time as long as the weed is in your system.

Mushrooms is a great idea for a first trip. Start with a gram and work your way up. But IMO, although nothing can compare to the beauty of shrooms, it can go south quickly if you get caught up in a negative thought loop. 1 gram of mushrooms or 10-15mg of 4 sub tryptamines is a very nice first dose. Be alone or with a close friend whom you trust and have no anxiety around. Stay away from strangers on psychs for the first few times. Especially mushrooms. You'll love everyone, but you wont want to communicate with them on a human level. Keep the humanoids at a distance

I know nothing about mescaline. I'd like to try that out if it crosses my path. Ive done no research on safety or effects

If you work with it, DXM can be quite the teacher. My most profound experiences off of any drug had come from DXM. But none of these profound experience occurred until experienting with the drug A LOT, and learning to control yourself on it. After getting the dose just right for me, and meditating nightly on it, the veil of reality lifted (only on 3 occasions). And after thst veil lifts, it's like having an inside joke that only a few others know about life. Now this can be achieved with just enough meditation as well, or so I've read and been told, but monks work a lifetime to get where DXM took me in only a year. Unfortunately though, there is nothing left to learn from the drug anymore (for me at least), so I've moved on to other teachers. I'm working with Dmt at the moment. Mushrooms would be a close third on my list

My top 5, of the ones I have tried so far, are:

1) Ketamine - While technically a dissociative, it does indeed have psychedelic effects (at least for me), particularly when listening to music with eyes closed and in the k-hole.

2) LSD

3) Psilocybin containing mushrooms

4) Cannabis

5) Salvia Divinorum
