Hello all,

Due to numerous request (pwetty pweeeeezzzzzze with loads of sugar on top) I installed a chatbox for the DMT-Nexus.

However...

* This will be a test for a week, after this week it will be evaluated. If a success then it will continue.
* With this test we want to see if the Chat isn't drawing attention away from the forum
* Important chat topics should be copied to a forum thread!
* Don't be rude on the chat (what's new here?)
* There is no username/password connection between the Chat and the forum!

And then the most important thing, the URL:
chat.dmt-nexus.me

And the help for this chat software:

nice job on it traveler...it works nicely..and its also nice having a place to be able to quickly converse with fellow nexians
 
It seems the Chatbox is working fine. Some ideas have been thought out and posted on the forum.

I think I'll add a link to it next to the other links on top of the page to keep it running smoothly (as in, enough members to chat :)).
 
Explorer 8. I was able to post a quick hello, but then nothing more after that. The entire chat log is superimposed over the screen, and I'm unable to type or send.

It's an IE8 problem, you can solve it by clicking the compatibility button of IE8. (I know you already did but this is for future users)
 
I´ve been away for an short time, but it seems a lot of things changed deep down here on Nexus. Good job, Traveler, thanks. Wickeeeddd!... :lol:
 
Evaluation time!

After a week of using the chatbox it seems the amount of posts on the forum increased a bit and it also brought some nice idea's, the Enigmaticus is one of them. People on the chat are encouraged to post interesting chat session on the forum and it seems to work quite well.

Because of this the chat deserves a permanent place on the nexus.

today in the chat box we were able to provide info that avoided a certain scary OD
this is the wonderful thing about having a chat box
if someone needs help fast they can get it
