Swim has powdered bark thats been sitting around for about 6 -9 months and is want's to get rid of any oxidation to improve yields.

I saw a thread a while back, in which 69Ron gave a good summary on how to remove the n-oxide and then go on w/ the normal extracton. I cant find that thread, does anyone know of it's location.

Thanx Entropymancer, i saw the thread a while back but couldnt find it.

I will post results, if swim gives it a go.
:)

Probably a lot easier and more efficient to convert with elemental zinc or ascorbic acid before extraction and/or remove from your final product via recrystalization in heptane/hexane (oily yellow goo is possibly oxides and oils).
