Researching Africas psychoactive Flora

Dear readers I would like to make you aware of my new book on African psychoactive and psychedelic plants that has been published on Amazon. It covers African shamanism and the cross cultural similarities between the use of plants by the shamans in South America with the traditional healers in Africa. The book is an inventory of 306 plant species with incredible insights into healing mental and spiritual illness. Most of the species in the book have not been researched yet chemically or culturally. A treasure trove for phytochemists

More about my book can be found here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/0639763855
Thank you

I've always been curious about the intersection of traditional healing practices and modern science. Have you found any particular plant species that stand out for their potential in mental health treatments?

Thank you for your research in psychedelics. Biodiversity of psychedelics and plants is very limited. This book seems like it will change that. I purchased the book and look forward to reading it.

Great to see you here - one of the old guard!

One day this will make a good (I hope!) addition to my library. Onto the birthday list it goes…
