rose petal extraction

Hey all,

I have a huge rose bush in the front yard of this house I'm sitting for. I also make home
made soap and lotion. Anyone have any tips on the ideal way to preserve the scent or get the scent into the bath products?

i saw a thread where people used hash making bubble bags and ice to extract the tricombs (trichrombs? i don't know) on the outside of the rose petals, and it was like rose-hash-scented ness.
