SWIM's friend had to chop bark herself in a blender. Now that the chopped bark is in solution with a naptha layer, SWIM's friend noticed little pieces of the rubber seal at the bottom of the blender seem to also have gotten chopped.

Does SWIM's friend need to scrap the extraction? Is there a reaction with rubber, lye and/or naptha?
