safe..injections without needles!!

I've never had a problem with extracted spice. Just your typical filtered A/B with a secondary A/B for cleanup, freeze precip, vacuum dry, FASA out of dry acetone, decant, vac again and collect. Have IV'd such product literally 100s of times at up to 250mg per dose with no ill effects.

The key is simply strict adherence to best practice (eg prepare and test acid and base solutions before use instead of simply using an excess, ensure cleanliness of equipment, purify solvents by fractional distillation, etc.) and recognising that every extraction will yield a range of products of varying quality (ie crystalline fumarate is not the only product, I also get crystal to waxy freebase and possibly some oily spice, depending on start material).

To be clear, I am NOT encouraging others to inject homemade chemicals, simply trying to disspell the idea that plant extracted spice is somehow inferior to lab manufactured.

If you have ANY doubt about the quality or purity of your product, do not inject it by any method.
250mg is huge! How come you used such a high dose when 30 - 50mg is plenty strong enough for a breakthrough? I would imagine that would be black out territory.. especially with plant extracts that sort of dose would also increase any risks from other impurities present.

Of course it’s totally up to people whether they want to IV DMT.. but being that harm reduction is a core theme at the nexus, it is good that members warn each other of the risks. I know you aren’t recommending it to others just thought I’d make that point. DMT can be extracted from lots of different plants.. MHRB is a very clean source but many plants have other alkaloids in there as well.. I’d be super careful with any plant with a variable and more full spectrum extract.

You make a good point about purity of solvents etc.. cheap hardware solvents can carry impurities and I think if people are set on the IV route absolutely pure solvents and other chemicals should be used and the extract should ideally be analyzed.

Curious do you prefer IV to vaporizing? Do you find having to pull the needle out difficult as you are breaking through?

When your arm is tourniqueted, you won't feel the effect of the injected substance until you release the tourniquet. So you have plenty of time to pull out the needle, wipe your injection site with alcohol, and apply pressure to prevent bleeding for a while. Then you just release the tourniquet and trip.
Anyway, that route of administration still looks kinda creepy, and I wouldn't do that when I can vape it with similar efficiency and much more safety.
