San Pedro Cactus - My Friend has one...

My Friend is off to Thailand in 6 weeks and wants to use his San Pedro Cactus before he leaves.
I believe its about 6 inches long / 3 inches in diameter.

Does anyone have any experience with San Pedro that they would care to share?
Best method of Ingestion?
Intensity of Experience?
Anything else to watch out for?

Despine it.

Peel off the waxy outer skin.

Cut away the thin green layer of flesh just below the skin, but above the white inner core. Save this green flesh and dry.

Discard the core.

Eat or brew and consume the green flesh.

Trip is 10-12 hours. It's amazing.

You're probably going to need a bit more than 6"x3" for a full fledged experience unless that cactus is really potent (most are not). There are some good vendors that sell live cactus. I usually go for 8-14" for a full experience.

if you want a reliable dose you can either order multiple of the same strain (roughly same size) or get a bunch of pedro, prep it, mix it, then divide it, each dose will roughly be equal

personally i like to get a big one, prep it all, use half and know the exact potency of what i have left... well exact as in experience not alkaloid amounts...
