Hi,

a dreamer i know needs not just mescaline but a full, absolutely complete range of alkoids from a San Pedro healing plant.

He doesn't want resin and he doesn't want to drink too much liquid for obvious reasons, but will if necessary.

He was dreaming about trying to make the medicine into a shot. Kind of like Ayahuasca could be made into a shot, if done properly.

If anyone has successfully dreamt of doing this, please feel free to comment. Or if anyone has any suggestions or tips, are all wellcome.:)


Here is a possible dream procedure:

To start out with a Resin Tek. Basically, cut a live plant into chunks, freeze and thaw out x3 to help break the cell walls. Then, to do 1 long simmer/boil while not exeding 5 hours, or do a few shorter boils and combine the liquids. Filter or decant the reamaining liquid in order to get rid of any possible spines and gooyishness. Then, basically to use low heat and a fan to bring the rest down into a much more manageable ammount or ideally into a shot!

The only concern he has is, if not blending the cactus chunks will still get all the alkoids out?

The last time he dreamt of a resin tek, he did not decant some of the gooyisness. He ended up puking for hours without the slightest hint of any dream. So that experience left him a little concerned.
 
You seem to understand the tek concept all right. Go slow and thicken to whatever consistancy you desire. I've read of people who like 'pancake batter'.

But what's up with the puking? Is your substance both sour AND bitter? Perhaps you added so much lemon or vinagar so you couldn't deal with the excess acid in your stomach? Could it be that you've talked yourself into believing the substance is repulsive? You don't spend hours puking after eating a little piece of a pecan shell, right? (pecan shells are really bitter).

If you blend, the batter will contain extra cellulose but no one has said this adds any taste. Blending probably doesn't add taste and might help with extraction.

There is no way around bitterness (unless you don't let it hit your tongue at all using gel caps etc), but the puking for hours might be partially thought induced.

Are you sure your cactus is good?
Perhaps a bit of fasting before drinking?
Less lemon to reduce sourness?
Perhaps drink a little ice water after to help with taste?

Don't give up. Some people acquire a taste for cactus over time.

As far as, what's up with pucking. He is still trying to figure that out. He didn't use too much acid at all. And it was not certantly thought induced. Also it wasn't just one plant, it was a combination of 3 foot long plants, so as far as potentcy goes it is hard to believe that all three plants were low on alkoids. Obviously, he only consumed 1/3 of that amount and the rest is still laying in the freezer.

In the midsts of it he remembers thinking something a long the lines of, hey i by-passed all this bitter taste by taking capsules but puking resin out is far more worse than liquid juice.. lol

After only a few successfull dreams and a number of unsuccessfull attempts and various extraction procedures, he is reaching the conclusion that if one wants to truly benefit from the most beautifull healer/teacher plant out there!!! He needs to man up and just go with a good known working method. If he could downsize on the amount necessary to consume, he would. But in the end, it doesn't even matter.

He is going to get past the gate-keeper, no matter what. Because he is determined!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Let the cactus infect him and come out of his pores :)
 
For nausea control try eating 5-8 Datura Stramonium seeds before drinking the tea/shot or get some food grade lemon essential oil extract and try a few drops before consuming. Both are good with nausea and the Datura seeds have the added benefit of potentiating the alkaloids in your tea/shot.

Another way is to try 69rons mesc extract and stop when you have full spectrum goo. Then just add some water or juice to liquify the goo into something you can toss back in a shot or two. The resin/tea tek seems to produce more bulk, so your friend will probably end up with more than a shot, more like a small cup of thick liquid that might be hard to choke down. The extract should get your finished product smaller. Some people are able to dry out and power this full spectrum extract and place into capsules. Just some thoughts. Good luck and let us hear how things turn out for your friend.
 
Interesting thought on the Datura Stramonium! Might look into that.

69rons tek is great and my friend doesn't even see any point in isolating a complete pure product from it. Unpurified product gave my friend one breakthrough and two some of the most shamanically inclined experiences, all on seperate occasions. To the point where his whole consious was layed out in front of him and he could see and move around things in it, he could see where all the moles on his body actually came from and where a recent cold his been having came from, feel his whole ancestory inside of him.. etc In combination with coffee, the actual mescaline entity comes out to play, somewhere from behind. In dark blue color and all twisty and wavy. Absolutely amazing! Showed him things he can't/doesn't know how to even talk about.

The resin tek he feels like is also great for micro dosing and such. However, it seems that nothing really beats a full blown catus experience. The connection and healing one can get from it is completely unbeatable. There are no real words to describe what a cactus infection feels like. Other than an explosion!!

The main thing my friend is trying to find out. What are anyone elses thoughts on the dreams achieved by not blending the cactus chunks? Do all alkoids or at least most of them come out without blending?
 
My dreamer friend would love to try some Bridgesii in the future :)

He has been holding San Pedro very close to his heart for some years now so he really feels like he needs to reconnect with him again.

He guesses that some experimentation might be in due. The cool thing about not blending of course is that it is possible to bring the liquid down very low. And it is supposed to make it stay down longer. So he might try that method just for the sake of it.

He would be sure to report his results, incase someone else might find them usefull.
 
A shot of goo dissolved in water is really bad !!
WHat's the point of extracting if it's to make a tea from it ?
rather brew it and drink a pint with lemon and agave sirup.
it's rather good this way.
I would cap the extract TBH.
 
With respect to the resin that seems to have caused vomiting, were the cactus skins removed before processing? I've often heard it said that the skins can contain some chemicals that can be difficult to process. Alkaloid extractions should theoretically remove those constituents while a resin tek would not. Since you have some juice left it might be interesting to do a quick A/B on it to see if the result produces a more pleasant effect.

My shrek 2 looking cat came over with some results,

he said that he now thinks that the first threee pedros that he got must have been slightly out of the ordenary plants.

He also said that he stumbled on the Irishlion's tea tek and that seems to have worked out pretty good.

As far as, getting it down to a shot. It is almost impossible to do because there comes a point where the tea will get way too thik and a loss of alkoids is almost inevitable.

The key is to find the right balance or find a very potent plant that could be brought down lower than normal.

But it is all good, the cactus tea does not taste so bad anymore, he said. :)
 
To make a shot:
Take plant, if it has long spines remove them, if not then include them, it doesn't matter.
Take the fresh cutting and cut it into smaller sections you can feed to a blender, a nice blender not a crappy one.

Blend it to make it have very fine texture.

Next microwave it until it boils for a few minutes (but doesn't boil over) to makes the foam collapse and makes the proteins congeal.

Then pour the material through a filter, like a shirt or a sock or a jelly straining net. squeeze the material to get the residual moisture out.

Then microwave the material to reduce the volume to a shot, allow to cool and take it.

This whole thing can be done in less than an hour.

Use a good plant and you won't need that much material, only about 200 grams fresh or about a half lb. Be careful, it can be easy to be overwhelmed if you take too much.
 
Why heat when you can just jiggle the molecules huh?

Ive never even thought of using a microwave, is it realy that effective? Just a single cook of a few minutes?
