Hello everyone!
First of all, I appreciate the members of this resource very much for all of your contributions! I apologize for not being around to share what you guys have given me, but I have been exploring the deepest corners of consciousness for a few months now with all of your help, so thank you for that.
My question is about scaling an extraction, and... saving myself some time, basically.
I started out with cyb's hybrid tek which I like a lot. I have learned a great deal about the process from this tek, and due to my expanded understanding, I am able to tweak the parameters and get different kinds of spice.
The thing is, I have a small group of explorers on board with me now and we like to explore together. Sometimes we will take turns breaking through and talking about our experiences for hours. We've found we quite like changa, trying different herbal beds for different effects, etc., but I find that we are going through a pretty good volume of spice now and the .5g yields from cybs tek isn't anywhere near enough anymore.
I have a rather high intensity job, so long stretches of free time are becoming fewer and farther in between. I don't have time like I used to. Thus, I want to scale up the hybrid tek so I can set myself up for longer periods of time with one extraction.
So my question is... how would you recommend I scale up the hyrbid tek so that I can get about 5g spice (from 500g MHRB) using one vessel? I'm guessing one could make measurements of the solution (such as pH level) at each step along the way to determine when the correct balance has been achieved?
I extracted last weekend, and wanted to get 5g spice. I have heard over and over that scaling up a tek is NOT just a matter of multiplying the values, so I used 10 vessels as described in cyb's tek to maintain the ratio! After decanting the first pull took over 4 hours, I figured there has got to be a better way!
