Every time I type something into the search bar, it says 'nothing found', no matter what I type or how obvious the word(s) What am I doing wrong?
That's right. It's kind of hilarious that typing "DMT" into the search function here will turn up nothing - but it should also tell you why in that particular case.If the keywords are short, try adding more words or an asterisk at the end of it.
Hi T, I was trying to search for re-x and things like that, part of my problem was the three letter rule tripping me up. So yeah, maybe long form like 'recrystallization' would be a better way to search from now on. Thank youThat's right. @Captaincow - how about you tell us what you were searching for, and/or if you've since had any success. Coaxing meaningful results out of a traditional search engine is something of an art.
Thank you TravelerYup, any word that is utmost three letters is skipped, due to it clogging the indexer, and with that usually degrading the performance too much.
With three letter words however you can add a * at the end. So for example DMT will show no results, and DMT* will show you a lot.
One or two letter words will probably never be supported.
Kind regards,
