Second attempt at breaking through

Hey guys,

I just made my second attempt at a breakthrough with 40mg of pure DMT. I was unsuccessful because I could not take a second or third toke, and only cleared half the DMT from the first. So efficiently I took a half-toke

Again, I experiencing those strange dancing dots with my eyes closed, and also the computer screen was very 'boxy'.

Anyway, I want to know if the burning in the back of my throat is normal? I felt unable to take a second toke as the burning at the back of my throat was quite intense. My chest felt fine however.

Burning of the throat is never good. Spice should be smooth and taste a bit like leather and sweet honey. Or could taste different to others. But smooth is the key.
What are you smoalking in? Is this spice or changa or what? What device are you using? Gvg, machine, bong with sandwich? If it is spice, is the spice white - yellow? Or brown? Plus are you using a torch lighter or regular? Plus are you holding the ligher close or far away?

A key to smoking spice is to have the method worked out. Spice in a gvg or machine is best. Bong with sandwich is next best. Smooth smoke with a gvg or machine, but a bit harsher with a bong and sandwich.

40mg is WAY too much! 20-25mg is best. You forsure burnt your spice if you only saw dots. But its a learning curve. You are doing a good job, but you just need to refine your way or the spice you have.

The spice is a light yellow colour. It's from my own extraction. I used sodium carbonate to filter the impurtities out of the naphtha. I'm using a GVG with 6 screens and some Chore Boy pressed into a disc, with the coatings burned off. I no longer getting any DMT driping into the bend of the pipe as before, just some condensation now.

The cloud did seem very thick! Even when I inhaled what I could, I left a thick cloud of whiteness in the pipe that I couldn't inhale.

Try a bowl and use hald sandwitchs were you can actually see if you're vaping it it should bubble melt down into your herb or screen ,I don't understand why the hell they say sandwich everytime it pretty much burns the product so your stuck with wtf happened cuz you cant see your dmt being burned or vaped just put it on top and watch it bubble up the hit it all

Sky - Ok, so burnt plastic is not good.
What type of lighter? Torch or flame?
You want to slowly heat it. Just have the torch about 1-2 inches from the pipe. Burnt plastic means you are burning your spice.
Gvg has a learning curve. Maybe you need to do 3 hits.


Hyper - As for the sandwich. I have heard you light just the side of the top layer leaf and it will slowly burn. But yeah, you could always melt the spice into the leaf (to make enhanced leaf.

Yeah my brother just recently had the same problem, i gave him maybe a .2 gram to play with and i told him stretch it, he didn't listen but said he could not breakthrough and i felt bad cause on the littlest hit i can breakthrough faithfully... like the other night my friend came by and i treated him to a hit.. he hit the bong and passed it, this is where he took off running like a fool.. but i hit it directly after he did and got a way better hit than i thought i did cause the bowl was pre-heated. and i ended up breaking through without meaning too i dont even know why i hit it but i sat there in what seemed like a alien world for about 20mins where was it frightening cause ive never been smacked outta the blue like that except for my first time to hyperspace.. but on another not it might have been the shadows it was dark when we did this outside lol.
