i appreciate this. those people really bug me. the worst ones are the ones that pick it up and put it in a plastic bag, then when nobody is looking they throw the plastic bag in a bush or off to the side of the path. the poo would be better than the poo in a plastic bag. i often see them hanging in trees too 
The ones hanging in trees or right off the side of the trail are often people that (hopefully) pick it up on the way back out. No point in carrying a bag full of poop miles down the trail and back, just pick it up on the way out.
That said, too many people forget to pick it up on the way out.

No Trails around here in the UK, people are just lazy and careless. Scruffy F*****s that deserve their own s*** parcel delivered through their letterbox.
I just had rhe idea to collect them. Put it all into one of those Amazon prank boxes. Someone tries to steal a package... poopboom.

golf is one of my favorite sports! It doesn't take much to find a stick and give the a quick flick into the bushes where no one walks....

i am also a forager and i feel the same way, but at least it's better than putting it in a bag first.
i wonder how much of the nasty stuff in commercial dog food actually ends up in the food, assuming the dog in question is eating that kind of food.
