Seen on a dogwalk trail.

The ones hanging in trees or right off the side of the trail are often people that (hopefully) pick it up on the way back out. No point in carrying a bag full of poop miles down the trail and back, just pick it up on the way out.

That said, too many people forget to pick it up on the way out.

i wish that were the case. usually i see them multiple days in a row before i do something about it myself. i'm sure many people do pick them up but not around here unfortunately 😥

As an urban forager, I cannot fully support this solution.

i am also a forager and i feel the same way, but at least it's better than putting it in a bag first.
i wonder how much of the nasty stuff in commercial dog food actually ends up in the food, assuming the dog in question is eating that kind of food.
