Hi Folks,

While I haven't done much drawing or painting for over 20 years... I thought I'd share some of my old stuff.

Thanx for looking. :)

I believe Rising Spirit has pointed to that "best image" wonderfully. Good one.

Err... I did??? Yeah, that's the ticket! I was INTENTIONALLY choosing not to post the attachments. Sort of like no mind? How very Zen... no pics.

Sorry Guys,

I must have stepped into a time-warp or some kind of anti-time loop??? Here they are folks! They were created from some time in 1978 through late 1991. Thanx for looking, for real this time. 😉

Thank you all for the kind remarks. They are mostly humanoid portraits because I wanted to convey the state of mind of the subjects. Only the 2nd, 4th and 6th piece were done under the direct influence of entheogens (LSD and p. cubensis). The yellow dragon, rainbow face with the open crown and the green Native American were painted while I could still maneuver a brush and was able to remain focused on the external world. The rest were done after sitting mediation or smoking ganja (or both). I do have a handful of doodles, drawings and paintings done before, during and after peaking on a variety of psychedelics, though. They are a little wilder... but of course! Shall I upload some more images???

Love the set. 5, 8, and 13 particularly appeal to me!

I'd love to see some more of your work!

#5 is a pencil drawing of the noble Sioux chief, Red Cloud. #8 is titled, "Rishi" and #13 is titled, "Old man Winter". I drew that one late in the evening, when it was approaching 35 degrees below zero. It was a colored pencil sketch and sadly... I applied additional ink around 3:00 AM, from a black Bic pen... and frankly, I almost thew it in the wood stove. You see, it is over-worked and the black ink killed the light touch the drawing possessed. who knows... maybe it is better this way??? Thanks for the kind reply. I will upload more artwork tonight.

Those are nice! Is one of them Sri Babaji?
Yes Brother, two of them are Sri Babaji Maharaj. The first is the green cartoon with reddish hair. This was during my Peter Max phase. The second Babaji is the blue one. Admittedly, the original was a #2 pencil sketch but through the magic of Photo Bucket, I changed the color to blue. After all, Krishna is blue... so I figured I'd give him a color boost. The drawing occurred shortly after dawn, following one of the most powerful entheogenic sessions of my lifetime (4 blotters of clean LSD-25). while I didn't quite capture an exact photographic likeness... it's pretty darn close to how he appeared to me that evening.

My personal favorite are #4 and #5, which I call, "The Empty Mind" and Peyote Dreamer. I was actually painting these as I hit the peaks of an intense acid experience and a mushroom session (I know, why not mescaline?). Even though I was scintillating in the mushroom trance... Mescalito called me to paint this piece and I obeyed. Ironic huh?

Of course, in the #4 watercolor, all of the blinding light washing the top of the crown away is lacking in the finished piece, as it was part of the vision I was having at the apex of the experience. It sums up my entire spiritual philosophy at a glance. When the mind is stopped and made still in the vast expanse of Oneness... the Clear Light of the Void is perceived as the only true reality. Amen to that!!!

I will be uploading some of the more abstract "tripping" doodles I've done and a couple other favorite pieces of mine. Thank you all for your continued love and support, Guys. You folks are the best!!!

Some great artwork! Thanks for sharing with everyone! ;)

You are too kind, Brother. BTW, I've been itching to draw and paint some of the fantastic visions I have had under the potent spell of Salvia Divinorum. I will be doing so in the near future (if I can just remember enough of what I have seen, while sailing within the Salvinorin Seas).
