Shellite not separating!

I'm using an acid-base extraction. I have reduced the acid tea (pH = 2-3) fronm 500g of bark down to approximately 2.5L. I basified my solution to pH 13. I have added 750mL of shellite into the warm solution, but I am not seeing the shellite separate.

Has anyone encountered this issue before?

Any advice on how to aid separation?

OK here's a step-by-step guide on what you need to do to get rid of the emulsion:

- Click the "Search" button in the top right corner of the page
- Type "emulsion" in the search bar
- Click on one of the hundreds of threads that are bound to pop up

You should be able to figure it out from there.
