Spice dissolved in naptha

it's zippo and bestine which i have both read give great results
Ah I see - lighter fluid. Then why on earth did you say "motor oil"? 🤣
now I'm trying to pull it through with a large volume of motor oil with a lot of potential.

Best lay off the bong for a while next time you're thinking of extracting ;)

At least we can chalk this misunderstanding down to an apparent bout of cognitive flatulence.

i think it was a little bit of missing punctuation and a metaphor . maybe poor choice of words. but anyways. I'm methodically going thru the 5 gallon bucket with 32 oz main jars. i fill it half way with the viscous soup i dilute it with distilled water. and i top it off with naptha. i warm the entire vessel up to around 45c and rotate and flip over. i do get a nice yellow tint.... almost like urine in color. and i let it settle and separate. now i have noticed there is a very small layer of substance between the layer of organic solution and the aqueous soup. it almost looks flakey in appearance and texture. could that be the spice crashing out of the naptha and just sits on top of the aqueous solution. should i suckb that up with the pippette with the other naptha and do a water wash on it. thank you all too this who have helped me

This stuff from aged soup is most likely not DMT. I've seen it before, collected it and subjected to a few simple tests that indicate it can't be DMT.

If you want to be sure, perform tests of your own on the flaky material. I'm pretty sure it's just a degradation product from the mimosa tannins but it's still worth checking given the amounts you're processing.
