Spiritual vs Imagined ... Possible insight

Although that's a theory. Some of me swings over to my own theory, well probably not my own, but anyway. My theory is that states caused by taking doses of DMT are nothing more then EXTREME states of dreaming. There is one such post on these forums that suggests this theory. I was lucky to find it!

Let's see... freddyjenkins and Litrium... you two are beinf complete wackjobs with your evil this and soul stealing that. My post was sarcasm intended to get a few chuckles out of people who don't live in some dualistic world of good and evil forces. That didnt really happen to me. And if you want to know what really did happen to me... here it is. READ THIS AND BELIEVE IT BECAUSE IT HAPPENED. I was in a room, a very sterile environment and there were two entities present. One had on a white lab coat and doctors gear, the other had a notepad and was jotting things down as the doctor checked me out. He opend me up from my esophagus down to my upper chest and inspected my insides. He say to the assistant, "Oh you see, you see? This is part of the human affliction right here," as he points to an area of my throat, "things fall apart, there is an aging process and he has a problem right here" You can imagine how that affected me afterward. I kept thinking about it. Finally, curiousity got the best of me and I went to see my doctor. Do you know what happened???? I had a cyst the size of a dime on my vocal chord that could have burst at any moment, leaving the great potential to either never speak again, or to permanently damage my speech. Thank you, "evil 11th dimensional soul suckers", for giving me a heads up on a serious health issue. I guess I owe you my astral soul now.

Now. I remember watching on Youtube, a Doco that was about how people would dream certain things, and then in waking life these things would happen. Will explain some of the story's! Although, without finding this doco, the storys will be patchy.

One was with a woman that had some type of surgery. In her dreams she was walking in some type of cemetery, with many statues. As it turned out, she was one of these statues. She woke once the surgary was done, to find she could not move for a number of years or something like that. Something to do with how something went wrong with the surgery or something.

Well, that's one of the patchy story's, it was a long time ago! I know these types of things can happen in dreams. But the theory that DMT is an extreme dream state has its holes I recon. The best eg is the post quoted above. Things like this DO happen with some peoples dreams! Sometimes with cancer, sometimes with other things.

Now, if DMT was an extreme state of dreaming. To be 100% lucid in a DMT state would be just as mind blowing as having no control at all. But I have read how shamans do know how to travel safe in these states. I don't know, I have not bothered really trying to put together my theory. if only I had that doco I seen on Youtube!

I'm still new to the DMT experience but during my two experiences i feel what i am experiencing is just as real as waking life and i have always felt that my dreams have always been just as important as waking life. Lucid dreaming practices fascinate me at the moment because i feel it ties in so much with DMT journeying :d
