Had the pleasure of seeing this surreal art installation a couple of days ago in a big park in Sofia. It was being displayed outside of France for the first time ever, and is implemented by the French art group Aérosculpture.

Walking through the park with those balloons floating around felt like I was walking on a different planet entirely, with some bizarre metallic organisms protruding from the ground, gently floating along the air currents. It also felt like I was walking on the bottom of an ocean of invisible liquid, and those felt like some kind of metallic kelp. Very surreal, I can only imagine what a sight that would be to behold while peaking on mushrooms or LSD or something like that...

It's such a simple concept, yet so impactful, especially with the subtle ambient music with gentle chimes coming from speakers hidden in the trees.

I love this kind of art that merges some abstract, bizarre sight with the views offered by nature. ❤️
