Storing resin?

Excuse me if this has been discussed before, but both google and search returned nothing so here goes:

What would be a good way to store pedro resin after it has been made? I'm not talking about for selling purposes in any way, it's just that a lot of cactus which will need processing is heading SWIMs way and he would like to process it all at once. Any suggestions? I'm aware that it is a very different chemical from DMT, but would sticking it in an airtight container in the freezer with a desiccant be good for semi-long-term (less than a year) storage?
 
SWIM has some torch resin and he's been storing it in the freezer just in a zip-lock.

It has only been in there a month but has lost positively NO POWER, it is just like the first day he made it.

That's all the info SWIM has, he has a lot of resin so he'll be able test in in a year or so.... but that'll be a while, haha
 
mescaline is Very durable. no special storage is needed for pure extracts.
organic matter in the resins might go bad though! so freezing in an airtight container is a safe bet
 
indeed, the freezer is where all my tar goes!! never noticed any degradation over any amount of time. viva la mescal!
 
recall that archaeologists finding ancient tombs in the mountains of New Mexico report still-active 6000 year old peyote buttons(@ 6% strength!) made into necklaces for the dead. Probably cold, but not perpetually freezing. But DRY.
 
i thought it was 5000yr old, from texas. and they just said "contained measurable amounts of active mescaline"
or something like that...
peyo dont grow in new mexico does it??
