so say hypothetically swim had a distiller, what would be some good plants to add to make it more of a high then a drunk?

Right now I am considering yohimbe, blue lotus, salvia officianalis, (more thujone then wormwood without the bad taste) and ephedra.

I suppose SWIM could add HBWR alcohol extract, or some mandrake, but I don't think SWIM wants to make it quite that psychedelic. (doesn't really mix entheogens with alcohol). With the possible exception being that Pot could be added if it wasnt too expensive.

yarrow has thujone as well and other active chemicals and was traditionally added to alcohols..there are some reports of it on erowid in the yarrow vault..apparently it makes it more lucid and sort of inbetween absynith and cannabis..

You understand that only volatiles will be distilled off the decoction. That includes most of the essential oils that can be found in many plants which are bioactive (but not necessarily psychoactive).

It'd be better to first distil whatever you brew, then soak the distilled spirit in whatever herb you'd like for some time, then strain and drink.

Yup, I understand, that is what they call the "finish"
