if 5-ho-dmt is soluble in water, then you would want the acetone to be anhydrous, just to be safe.

it is ALWAYS better to be safe then sorry. dont you agree?

it is not hard at all to dry epsom salts (which are cheap) and i dont ever use the oven

simple as pie,

STEP 1 : get out salts, put on a plate in the microwave, put on high for 10 min (you can do less time if you prefer)
you will hear sizzling, thats good. it will stop sizzling when its completely dry. check to make sure its all crunchy,

STEP 2 : get it out the microwave, use oven mitt or towel, shit will be HOT! let it cool down then after that you break the salts off your plate, put into your acetone, shake up and wait 24 hours ( im not sure you have to wait that long but i do)

thats it. you can filter out the salts if you want, but its not needed they stay at the bottom.
