To bring this thread back to its SERIOUS nature, hmmhmm, here is what a wikipedia list has to say:
* Semantic Wiki Information Management, a subcommittee of the Semantic Interoperability Community of Practice (SICoP)
* System Wide Information Management, a technology to help provide data sharing of Air Traffic Management system information
* Surface Water Improvement and Management Program, a Florida state program to improve water quality.
* Someone Who Isn't Me, on internet forums.
There is no entry for the latter and hence no wiki-cred, so i must assume that most employers of the term SWIM are claiming to either be Semantic Wiki Information Management, System Wide Information Management or Surface Water Improvement and Management Programs.
Who knew that so many people involved in legally questionable conversations would also have interests as far ranging as semantics, air traffic management and surface water? it really is a wonderful world filled with wonderful people.
