Symbiosis 2009 anyone?

Migrated topic.
TheNtt,

It was awesome! Radically exceeded all of my expectations. Great music, great folks, inspirational art and a location so beautiful it sometimes brought tears to my eyes. The energy was high and positive. Everyone had a great time.

I spent more than my share of time near the medical tent, consuming significant quantities of band-aids for blisters and Advil for back-aches (I honestly believe I walked over 20 miles . . .). Everyone handled their entheogens very, very well. The main medical problems were clearly alcohol-fueled.

One thing that was noticeable: Although they advertised events for kids, the whole thing did not seem very kid or baby friendly. The music was so loud that you could hear it booming (literally) miles away. Laying on a matress at 4:30 a.m., you could feel the vibrations through the ground. Although there were some events and tents for kids, it didn't even appear to be enough to fill an afternoon, much less days.

I have posted a couple of trip reports in the LSD section. There is something to be said for the lasting joy of watching dancing tree-people hallucinations move in rhythm to the music for hours . . . Also, I am 41 years old and I did my first candy-flip combination (normal MDMA and heavy LSD dosing) at Symbiosis . . .

One thing I have not posted yet was a wonderful DMT tryp while Splongle was on stage that involved being in an orange room filled with dancing people representing ALL ages, ability-levels, genders and ethnicities on this Earth. So simple, yet so profound. A message of intense unity, acceptance and love was transmitted to me by these people. They were regular people, not machines, level-3 beings or anthropomorphic "elves" which I am used to seeing in hyperspace . . .

I made so many new friends and CANNOT wait to return next year. Some of these friendships are lasting. Everyone (whom I trust and normally talk to about spice) I spoke with at home to about the festival resoundingly stated that they were DEFINATELY going next year.

So, yes, plese do go next Summer if at all possible. You will not be disappointed.

Peace & Love,
Pandora

I am interested in finding out more about this festival, it sounds very interesting.

If all goes well and I'm out in Colorado next summer, I'll be going to Symbiosis 2010!
