Syrian Rue Extract - To Grind or NOT to Grind

Thanks to many years of reading here on this plethora of information and insight likely to be found ..well ..almost nowhere,
I have come up with the best dreams of how to prepare certain entheogens.
I'm one of those who like to skip steps where they CAN be skipped and so, this is how I came up with my own 'extraction' fantasy that does just fine for My Dreams
I don't grind Rue seeds anymore... I've done 'ground' and 'no grind' both and to be honest, I've not noticed anything gained by grinding first, other than more fats/oils and 'tannins' or 'dye' comes through which only lengthens the process in the long run
So, I'd like to know, am I REALLY missing out on anything by not grinding?
I instead simmer in [citric] acidified water until the little 'feet' start popping out [[ You know as when Beans are soaked and the 'foot' appears? Thats what I'm talking about..poppy seeds do the same thing after a step too many 'extractions' ]] and I can see them all peppering [[ White ]] through the mix, then I make that the last wash and move onto the next step ...
One little aside [ Question ] : Harmalas are flourescent so..as long as that remains, the 'goods' are intact right? This is a safe 'assumption' or is it possible to get the harmalas to lose their Fluoresence?

there are a couple threads on this already...
people get mixed results.

some, like yourself and I, get equivalent yields with or without grinding.
others get higher yields with ground.

it seems that brewing efficacy can vary from person to person, and thus the necessity of grinding changes accordingly.

as with most things, there is no objectively better way

I think the difference lies possible in the seeds, mine really ask for grinding.
I've boiled the heck out of them in low pH water, getting very faint results, and after grinding the boiled-out-seeds, the show started to happen finally. As said, it seems it all depends.
Filter problem? Never try to filter ground seeds, always settle/decant.
I don't tip over to decant (to not disturb the settling out) but suck off the water layer into a vacuumed bottle.

You won't be able to exhaust so hard that it no longer shines under UV. There will always be traces that keeps the glowing strong.
There is a point where the decreasing added yield will no longer justify the investment in time/boiling. This can be determined by basing the latest decant separately and see how much still precipitates.

Yeah I have found Rue to be EXTREMELY Fluorescent almost to the point of non-belief but alas, countless glowing greenish/yellow stains on white formica tells the tale .. I believe Ghost Busters had a term for it: " Slime "

I have made a side by side test and the whole seeds yielded significantly less than the ground seeds.. I forgot the exact number but it def made me decide to always grind it.

infundibulum, on the other hand, also made side by side tests and got very similar results with ground vs whole, BUT, he used a percolator set up with warm water, which is significantly different.
