Syrian Rue Extraction Without Cooking

Is it possible to use whole, uncooked syrian rue seeds to extract harmalas with just lye as the base?

Sure, I dont see why not. Would help to grind the seeds up to speed extraction. Should be able to base them and soak for a day with stirring and pull into naptha I would think.

Yea, i have plenty of time and no grinder. I'd like to avoid the cooking process to avoid any degradation of alkaloids and to just simplify the process. I still need to order a pound of seeds to make it worth my time (only have a few ounces right now).
