Migrated topic.
what the hell is with all these 1 line posts ?
Yes it is strange - lets start an entire discussion on how strange it really is.

yes this is part of my signature

so is this

goddamnit

It's even stranger that the strangeness of life itself isn't constantly being discussed. Take elephants for instance; if you would explain to any extraterrestial beings what an elephant is, they would probably not believe that we have such creatures overhere.

heres a strange fact A blue whales tongue weighs as much as an elephant
would that be an african or an indian elephant?
And also, where does a blue whale need such a large tongue for? Are they very specific in what krill they want to eat or are they just very passionate kissers?

I wana ride on an wild elephant. And then I'll keep a giant dog kenel next to my giant barn and thats where he will sleep at night and I'll feed him hotpockets when I wake up then the best of all will be riding him to school. In the middle of winter. Now that would be pretty strange. lol

And please don't tell me a sperm whale has sperms the size of a large crocodile. there's always a chance that i would believe it and wouldn't dare to swim in the sea anymore.

Before Native Americans migrated to the Americas from the Berring strait there were "megafauna" or giant animals, much like there are in Africa still. For example we had sloths that stood about 12-14 feet high and armadillos that were the size of Volkswagon bugs. Unfortunately early humans quickly killed off all the megafauna because of their vulnerability.

We need a thread called funky animal facts or something.

Organic life is quite the mystery. I'm always down to hear what everyone has to say about that.

The recent spamming is very unfortunate.
And Yes, McKenna was a poet. The psychedelic underground needs more eloquent advocates. He was nuts..in a good way but at the same time a master of words. He is not my prophet, I disagree with him on quite some things...but it would be nice to have him around this plane.
