Tabasco Machine?

So I've searched low and high, you can call me the seeker, but I can't find an appropriately small glass bottle for a machine anywhere. No single serving liquors, no flavor extracts, they're all plastic.

The best I could find was a small Tabasco bottle. The 2 fl oz. to be exact. It *looks* like it should work to me, but I have zero experience with smoking spice, let alone machines. My labor of love's been ready for a week now, my mg scale comes tomorrow, and I'd like to get down to testing the fruits of my labor sometime soon. But not before I have everything in order.

Anybody have any experience with such a bottle or something similar? Care to weigh in? It would be most appreciated.

PS It has a fairly thick glass bottom, but I did buy a glass drill bit. So that shouldn't be a draw back for me. Right?

just smoke it out of a regular pipe, put some herbs in your pipe, sprinkle on some spice, put some herbs on top. instead of herbs you can simple sandwich the spice in layers of ash aswell. gently light the top layer of herb and your good to puff.

this has worked well, and is still my preferred smoking method, out of a bubbler that is

The vinegar bottle kicks ass! Best as of yet! But push the scrubber below the top of the bottle. You will never burn your spice.

You could get 100 bottles. But if the flame gets too close, then it burns the spice!

The idea with the gvg is that there is basically a buffer type deal. It will condition / limit the heat so it does not overheat the product.

The vinegar bottle with metal top and 1 hole in the metal top is great. The top with the hole limits the heat like a buffer and gives a great.... No.... Awesome vaporization!! It gives an effect as "the key 2" where there is no way the flame can ever touch the spice.
Give it a try!

Thanks everyone for your advice. @mew- I know smoking an herb sandwich should work, but I'd rather smoke only the dmt and not any other herb or ash with it. Sometime in the future I will certainly try that though.

@Electric Kool-Aid, the link to your machine thread is a very useful thread. I LOVE that vinegar bottle method as it takes the machine one step further. I will be on the hunt for a similar bottle.

From everything I've seen, it looks like my 2 fl oz (59ml) bottle should work. If anyone thinks otherwise, or has experience using this bottle, please let me know.

So it turns out that the tabasco bottle won't work. I didn't realize the spout where the sauce come out is actually tapered glass. I thought it was a mouth with a plastic piece controlling the flow of sauce. So it's back to the drawing board...still on the hunt for mini liquor bottles that are glass, and especially for that vinegar bottle.

The opening is about a half inch, much wider than a Tabasco bottle. (Haven't tried it myself- yet.)

Thanks man, I honestly didn't even think to look at other hot sauce bottles! Duh! haha I will be looking tomorrow as I hope to finally test out my product, and take my very first steps toward hyperspace. :shock:

I couldn't get a scale from your 'Machine' pics.

yup! thats the one! however, they can be any size. just not too big. but the vaporizer quality is in the top with the one hole.
oh I wanted to mention that the metal mesh should be about 1cm to 1/2 cm from the rim of the glass neck of the bottle. or it will heat up too much.

Out of interest what's the problem with drilling through a 1" dowell? Spade bit 14 mm for the scrubber, 6 mm hole for vapour to mouth? Would that work? (I don't yet have the material required for an experiment.)

Just been shopping for Machine Parts...V cheap..2 for £1 ($1.50)
So I got a few for 'spares'

Also couldn't resist the 'Spice Jars' ..HeHe..just gotta think of a cleaver delivery system for them now..
