What is the Cosmic Joke? And why is it so difficult to remember the punchline?

.. I was once struck by the realization that we are all the punchlines - every DNA-based organism is a 'punchline' .... Like God is a great comedian. So, is it only one joke - with trillions of punchlines !~..?

So are we, when tripping, just temporarily tuning in with gods laughter?

Cuz right now it doesn't seem that humorous, and I'm stone cold sober.
