The culmination of 20 years of study

Migrated topic.

GossipWisdom

For anything to be, all must be
My character, Gossip Wisdom, was finally introduced to and gladly accepted an invitation from the molecule after a lifetime of preparation and a specific 20 year journey of spiritual study and enlightenment.

Born the only son of a Methodist minister, questioning and focus on life's higher nature and bigger questions. Gossip can remember even as a child, sitting in the pew, listening to his father speak about the nature of a higher power and feeling a knowing presence that what was being said was not entirely correct. Luckily, the minister was a deeply flawed man who lived by faith and seeing "behind the curtain" of religious dogma proved to him that, for him, it was not to be taken literally. That there was more...

After 17 years, a unplanned trip to the library led to a discovery and ultimately, liberation from the dogma that was programmed from birth. It also began a spiritual and scientific journey of discovery that continues to this day.

His beginnings with the molecule has been a true example of trial and error in every aspect. He has come to expect and appreciate the journey more than the destination. He comes with no experience to speak of, except for a mild encounter with a handful of mushrooms twelve years ago. He is an avid seeker. His intentions are to spread love, respect, understanding and encourage every person to find their own truth. He knows, beyond the illusion of matter, we are united in whatever this experience of awareness is.

Gossip is extremely excited by and in awe of the community here at Nexus. The caring and understanding shown by those a little further down this road is truly a model that needs to be expanded in all facets of life. His hope is that he can learn and one day continue that.

Welcome, friend. I too grew up on a church pew and accidentally stumbled into "the truth". However incomplete my version of truth is. I always knew something was wrong with the Christian teachings but I never knew what. I began to question and then abandoned the Christian faith. And then....I found DMT and it catapulted my spiritual and mental growth into overdrive. I have made more progress as a human in 3ish years using DMT and Ayahuasca than I have in the rest of my life entirely. So yet again, welcome. You are among friends.

Welcome Gossip.

I have alot in common with you and DarkMedicine. I like knowing that there are members here that had similar journey to this truth.

Intezam you gravedigger! Lol

I would say welcome, but after 3 years of being a member here, I'm sure you do feel welcome given the wonderful nature of this forums user base.

Now, to the truth. The truth is, one of the first great revelations I had while using DMT is that the truth is what you make it. That is to say, if you believe in something with true conviction, then it is the truth insofar as you are personally concerned. What this led me to discover is that nothing is true without the belief of its truth. Even if it is irrefutable, personal truth comes only through the belief that an idea is true.
