Hello fellow nexus enthusiasts,
My freeze precip is giving me troubles. The first few times i had no problems, well i had a few but they worked out. the jar i use i cannot get my hand in to scrap ( im still looking for a suitable jar ) but luckily the crystals never stuck to the sides and i could catch them in the coffee filter-set that out over night to dry- visit hyperspace in the morning :-D
but now the crystals are caked to the side and it looks like a wonderful white fluffy yield. its impossible for me to scrape it so i started reading here on nexus on what to do but im still a little confused.
Can i filter the napatha leaving all the crystals still stuck onto the jar, take a small bit of warm napatha (10ml) and dissolve the crystals and transfer to my pyrex dish to evap?
or should i refreeze the small amount dmt saturated solution in the pyrex dish like a second freezer precip, let the crystals freeze / stick to the bottom of the pyrex dish, filter off the napatha and scrape the crystals then?
thank you for your help Nexus
