Pure joy for me. But it still has a nice bittersweetness that is the difference, at least IMO, between smaltzy happiness and real unbounded joy. This song and low dose plain leaf salvia combined is beautiful

Some more joy from my favourite Japanese psych/space rock mavericks. Again, it has this bittersweetness mixed in that gives me a more complete sense of happiness, like finding beauty in the most epic mountain wilderness but also acknowledging at the same time that it will all eventually disappear into the inferno of our dying sun in about 7 billion years or so.
From one of my favourite artists. This is from material in a duo, where they play and sing as a pair of conjoined twin sisters (the other songs are mostly not that happy).
This song has been bringing me a lot of joy lately.
I'm a bit behind the eight ball with this band.. I always appreciated them but I finally have clicked onto the genius of Kevin Parker who writes and records all the instruments on their albums by himself. A definite inspiration for my future approach to my own music.
Anyway, I hope this can brighten someone else's day too
