There are some epistemic problems that can only be solved once particular problems in philosophy of mind are solved. There are problems in philosophy of mind that can only be solved when certain ontological problems are solved. Sure that is correct I would say. Since it seems the more we observe the more there is to do science about, science may never end. Did the atom exist before we theorised and subsequently 'discovered' it? Quantum world opens up lots of philosophical questions about science!

Yeah, this is what leads me to avoid most questions of philosophy, especially since it would necessitate learning the difference between epistemic and ontological - and now I feel like I've forced myself 🤦‍♂️
Epistemic refers to knowledge and how we acquire it, focusing on what we can know about reality, while ontological pertains to the nature of being and existence itself, examining what actually exists in the world. In essence, epistemology is about knowledge claims, and ontology is about the reality those claims refer to.
Well, I feel vinicated in my original decision…

— Analytic Idealism in a Nutshell: A straightforward summary of the 21st century's only plausible metaphysics by Bernardo Kastrup

Bhagavan: The false ‘I’ or ego stands between the soul and the body, and connects them. Now, soul is conscious while the body is inert. The false ‘I’ binds them together. So, it is also called the knot between matter and spirit [chit-jada-granthi]. From this we see that it has its feet in the Self and its head in the body. Therefore, by enquiring into the origin of the ego, we can easily proceed and reach the formless Self.

All of philosophy is conceptual and exists only in the domain of the mind. It's useful to get to the abyss of not-knowing, but jumping is an entirely different story. Be it Dzogchen or Advaita, the real truth of reality is Ajata. There is no one here and never was. This world is a dream-like occurrence. We'll never believe it as long as we're associated with characters in the dream. My dogmatic preaching continues 😂
