Thanks for your feedback mate, it's well appreciated. I only consider the 'entity = imaginary friend' idea as one possible map of the experience in light of what I've learned so far about DMT.

As for what you said about knowing things before this life, I understand where you're coming from. I've been experimenting with different states of consciousness through different methods from a variety of yogic practices and ritual magick to auto-hypnosis and psychedelics since I was about 11 years old (not the psychedelics, obviously!) and have had what you could consider to be past-life recollections. I can't say that I subscribe to the idea completely though since it could very well all have been imagination but, as with the entity idea, it's something interesting to think about.

Once I manage to produce DMT I'll be able to experience it and objectively compare it to the ideas I've spoken about already. Until then, it's all just speculation.

Your thought exercise made me think about something I'd read from Robert Anton Wilson years ago, a similar exercise involving visualising some kind of super computer from the future which can be asked questions on any subject and provide an answer. It's fun to try and certainly helped me address some issues I've had from the past by providing different viewpoints that I wouldn't have been able to access with my conscious mind alone. Who knows....
