The more you know
I have a theory based on my recent studies of my mind on Salvia that explains more or less every strange detail of the Salvia trips.
Assumption: The Universe is a fractal.
Theory:
The daily (default) consciousness covers a part of the Universe. On Mushrooms or Pharma, the consciousness covers a larger part of it. On a Salvia trip, the consciousness covers a subset of the fractal.
Note that the subset doesn’t mean the consciousness loses clarity. Neither does it mean it gets limited. We are not talking about alcohol.
It means the area of focus changes somehow like this:
The theory explains a lot of my personal experiences and experiences I read on the Internet.
On Salvia, one often ends up in a world similar to one’s childhood while not being their childhood. It’s because childhood was generated by consciousness based on the set of the fractal it covers. Salvia brings one back to that subset like a magnifier. That’s why the clarity doesn’t suffer. More like the opposite of it happens. A childhood-like world is generated with more vivid details.
Mushrooms and Pharma expand the consciousness to a larger subset of the fractal and provide one with God-related experiences.
The Salvia experience feels "home" or "the real world" because it’s based on a subset of the fractal that has always been part of the consciousness. The Mushroom/Pharma experience reveals a less known, less often experienced part of the fractal hence it seems alien, mystical, unearthly.
The "part of the Fabric of the Universe", "lack of control/free will", "karma-world" feelings of the Salvia experience origin from the fact that the consciousness zooms to a subset of the fractal compared to the daily life. Zooming out with Mushrooms or Pharma grants one more illusion of freedom.
Note: it’s possible to use Salvia and end up outside the set the daily conscious level experiences and visit an alien world or another planet. It’s also possible to have a bit salvia-like experience on Mushrooms. Although these are less common.
