Hello Nexians,

I recently watched a video of a man talking about his Aya experiences. In the video, he goes to say he would prefer not to do Aya in the states (although he has) due to the immense psychic energy here that he believes, disrupts the experience. Now, I understand completely what he is saying, however, I wonder, do YOU think having an Ayahuasca experience over here vs in the Peruvian jungle diminishes the experience?

Do you think we experience difficulty/disruption of connecting to Mother Aya just by being surrounded by our American culture?

My thoughts are, I think to a certain extent yes, but then again, I have never done Aya so I couldnt say myself for lack of true experience.

Im curious, as I would like to take the journey eventually, but I would probably seek out a natural environment away from civilization to do so.

I don't think it's america entirely. Your on the right track though.
Far from the noise, cluttered buildings, & bright lights of civilization is the best place for a fully immersive aya experience.

The best place i've found is a family owned cabin. Small, warm, & comfotable & far out in the woods miles from any neighbors or roads.
I'd suggest if you do end up using a secluded location like this you have a sober sitter or two.
A campfire is nice, but only if yiur sitter(s) contain you & keep you safe & keep the fire small & under control.

No..and I don't think it's an either or thing.

Diminish what experience? Experience IS experience..Drinking at home wont be drinking in the jungle, obviously..and vice versa.

I don't see ayahuasca as anything more special than mushrooms or san pedro. I don't see people saying you have to go to Hawaii to eat Panaeolus cyanescens.
