theoretical yeilds

hello this is a basic question for the mroe experienced in this extraction. I am wondering what the theoretical yield of extract of NN-DMT would be if using

28g (1oz) Mimosa hostilis root bark
or if I use

28g(1oz) Desmanthus illinoensis root bark

The mimosa hostilis is likely to yield around 1%, so 28 grams should equal around 280 mg. It can also yield as little as 0.5% or as much as 2%, depending on quality and extraction method used, so you may get as little as 140 mg or as much as 560 mg.

The only number I have on Desmanthus illinoensis is 0.34% DMT, so assuming that is a standard number 28 grams should equal around 95 mg. I have no experience extracting from D. illinoensis myself, but I want you to note that it apart from DMT also contains the inactive NMT and the toxic gramine that may be apparent in your end-product, depending on extraction method used.

Out of the two I have been leaning toward the mimosa hostilis, I wanted to use Acacia simplicifolia bark but I cant really find any where that sells it or has it in stock.

Why would you want to use any Acacia species if they doesn't grow naturally where you live? Mimosa hostilis works wonderful, after all it is what nearly everyone use for their spice...

You're lookin' at that old, source percentage chart aren't you?
Prior to learning all the extraction stuff, that was one of my bookmarked links, but after seeing how easy and reliable MHRB is, I dropped any thoughts of fantastically high-yielding A. simplicifolia extractions. :d

SB- you caught me .... I was looking at a % chart taht I had book marked lol.....

So far from what I am hearing from people the MHBR is very good.

To Evening Glory, as mentioned below I was looking at a % chart and wanted to go with higher yielding Acacia which you are correct does not grow in my area but at the same time neither does Mimosa hostilis which I will also have to order off line but Mimosa hostilis is a lot easier to find.....

Having tried both, and getting almost no results with the prairie mimosa (be minded that it was SWIM's second attmept) my bud says that the jurema is the dreama. Happy and safe extracting, fellow nexian!
