Theories on Humanity?

I am troubled with reoccurring visions of slavery over humanity in my attempts to reach a higher consciousness. I can't help but obsess over the question of what we are. I thought I would obsess over the reason for our existence, however, all I seem to confront is the question of "what are we?" Of all life-forms on earth we are on an entirely different mental level. What the ---- are we? Why do we appear so alien and oppressed in all of my visions? Has anyone felt similar vibes in their experiences?

I believe that we are Children of God.

I believe that the oppression will end as more people wake up to that Truth. People cling to power and domination because they don't really understand that true joy only comes through love and light. Everyone who chooses to give themselves wholly over to love lights the way and leads by example.

And I believe that God created us to love us. Look how freaking beautiful the universe is. Look at the beauty of the stars and galaxies. See the beauty here on earth, the mountains, the valleys, the rivers and oceans.

The Universe is a work of art and God created us to enjoy it. God is love and He needed someone the share His Love with.

Is this a joke? I'm not trying to be rude but Dr. Eugene McCarthy is trying to say chimps and pigs could have offspring. When was the last time 2 completely different species ever were successful in having offspring?

Ahhhh... the wonders of nature.

Chimpanzees adopt a pig and raise it as their own. Then one day, deep in the forest, sounds of grunting and squeels of pleasure.

From the linked article:

"Generally speaking, interspecies hybrids—like mules, ligers (lion-tiger hybrids), or zedonks (zebra-donkey hybrids)—are less fertile than the parents that produced them. However, as McCarthy has documented in his years of research into hybrids, many crosses produce hybrids that can produce offspring themselves."

I think this stems from feeling trapped in a certain situation. Many are trapped by debt, or in the persuit of material things, houses, cars, jobs or feel pressured to conform to societal 'norms'. These are all forms of slavery in some way and many fall victim to these traps - don't we all at one point or another? You won't be free until you have resolved this and moved on, but even then there will be another snag waiting in the wings. I wrestle with this sometimes.
