How should swim prepare himself for this journey with some freebase spice and some harmaline 5x liquid (I believe its extracted from Syrian Rue)
How much should the mg dose be for both these botanicals for a first time user.
Should the Harmaline be taken 30-40 minutes before vaporizing some good spice.

I heard that Syrian Rue was a real cruel teacher and swim does not want to get burn so what are some light to medium doses for vaporhuasca.

rue has some good things to teach and can get pretty wacky, but I agree with fractal enchantment here and suggest you look into caapi.
 
Is 75mg of harmaline good with 40mg of spice for smoke-a-huasca?
And how long should one wait, after the harmaline is ingested, to vaporize some spice?
 
Take your time to try different amounts and combinations, and take good notes of your experiences. Suggested combo would be a caapi extract (powder), sub-lingual, about 30 minutes before the spice. 5-10 mg is all that is needed. You can also use a small amount of the caapi (such as caapy copy) in the vape mix, with the 30-40 mg spice. The effects are deeper, more long-lasting, more of the ayahuasca experience, and in the view of some, more profound.

Go easy on the THH. That carboline is different from harmine and harmaline, and has a greater impact on serotonin uptake, lasts much longer, and can potentiate "serotonin syndrome" that is very unpleasant and in some cases can be dangerous. Remember that everyone is different and learn about your own reactions to various levels of these amazing substances.

This sounds pretty easy!

How much should you mix in with some spice? How many mg of Caapi Copy?
Will "The Machine" work fine for the Caapi and spice mix? Heated with a torch or lighter?

SWIM's worst vaporhuasca experience was with 6 g of crude Manske Rue extract. YMMV, but for your first experience SWIM would recommend the vine.

Timing varies substantially from person to person. After some experimenting SWIM blasts off at +20 min.

SWIM does not think rue alone will be very informative of the actual journey. At dosages when rue is felt by itself vaporhuasca almost for sure will be overwhelming.

Other obvious suggestions:

1. Try to make sure you know exactly how much harmalas you're taking.
2. Start with small doses of harmalas.
3. Onset may be as fast as with spice alone.
 
Remember that harmalas potentiate the spice a lot so start low and work your way up with accurate scales. No eyeballing that will just lead to a totally avoidable freak-out.
