Anyone enjoying this thread must also see: "So that's why people are having visions of jaguars" in the information section! Especially Jorkest, you need to see the Louis Wain paintings!
here is SWIM's little kitty..she's a runt..but she is ferocious..anytime somebody new comes over she attacks them to show them who's boss.. its her domain!!
haha she is most certainly a jaguar...right now its been really cold and snowy out..so shes been staying inside lately..and her fur gets all nasty and shes starting to get little dreads around her neck...SWIM has been trying to get rid of them..but the best he can do is pull one when shes not paying attention and cut it off with scissors..
its funny..shes almost 3 years old...and she was just as ferocious when she was a few weeks old...
but never has SWIM had a more protecting creature..shes been the only thing he has had to come back to after weird hyperspace launches...the ones where you meet your best friends(in the universe and time) and they tell you its time to go..and you get up to follow them..just to watch your most dear friends disintegrate in front of your eyes..but she was there for SWIM always watching his back...
she also protects him in his dreams..hes had a few dreams where weird purple super squirrels are trying to kill him..and she comes out of nowhere and eats them...she has also protected him from these bugs that were just growing out of a window sill..in these little pouches..and then bursting when they overflow onto the floor...there were fish growing in these little pouches too..but again..she comes out of nowhere with her sharp little claws and lays waste to any and all that try to disturb SWIM
Yes, it's amazing how deep that bond can go... when my dear cat was killed by a car last year I was torn apart, it hurt like an amputation. A real guardian angel! And you bet she knew I was on mushrooms or spice. She regularly appears in my dreams now...
