Tinted DMT?

i have just done my 2nd extraction.

it was performed with a different batch of bark from the first extraction. Additionally, this time I opted to use Phosphoric Acid instead of Acetic acid and I used Swan lighter Fluid instead of Ronsonol. I switched lighter fluids because I found that the Swan evaporated cleaner than the Ronsonol.

The first batch of DMT (made with Ronsonol/Acetic Acid), worked very well, very visual, smelled sweet, and left a sweet aftertaste. It was of a light yellow colour.

This second batch of DMT (made with Swan/Phosphoric Acid), less visual, more 'mindy' (although have only had very small doses so far tbh), has a fainter smell, and leaves a kind off sweet/bitter aftertaste. Also had a very subtle nauseous feeling today which I link back to the couple of light blasts I had before I came out. It is a white/very slightly yellow colour.

Could the phosphorous have given the DMT a bitter tinge and/or resulted in a more 'mind' orientated but less visual hit.

Or could the Swan lighter fluid have tainted the final product (even though it evaps better than the Ronsonol)?

Can any knowledgable persons shed some light on this?

I have never had different kinds of dmts... I've had vastly different trips. some visual, some internal and less visuals, some out of space and time, some I can't ever remember, some brought me to a parallel world. the thing is, it's unpredictable. Just because one small dose of it felt different than your other batch doesn't mean anything.

The taste etc. shouldn't be different if you have clean spice. It being yellow is usually plant residues in there. You can clean it up or leave it that way. They migrate into the solvent sometimes, if the bark is powdered super finely, or the lye breaks it up for long enough, or maybe it has something to do with the solvent as well. Generally it's nothing terrible. Unless your spice is blue or some unnatural color...

When you say "cleaner", refering to the evap of your ligher fluid, that sounds like it's still not fully clean... Like, do you really want to use something that does not evaporate 100% when you leave it? Remember you are putting this in your body, into yourself. There is no way you'd get me to smoke anything that wasn't made with clean chemicals.

It is lighter fluid or nothing I am afraid.

Both the Swan and the Ronsonol evpaorate pretty darn clean to the point where it is as if none had been spilled onto the CD. However both leave a trace around the perimeter of where the fluid puddle was......the Ronsonol much more so than the Swan.

Even though I only had small doses, this stuff is defo different to the other stuff, I mean, it actually tastes different. I liked the taste of the other stuff, I dont like the taste of this stuff so much.....

......I am tempted to think that using the phospohric acid could well have put a spin on the final product more so than the Swan lighter fluid could have.
